ISLAMABAD: An emergency meeting of party leaders chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan has started following the decision of the Supreme Court.
According to PTI sources, the meeting is being held at the Prime Minister's residence in Bani Gala in which the decision of the Supreme Court and the future situation are being considered.
According to sources, the meeting is also formulating a strategy for the future strategy. This important meeting is also attended by senior PTI leadership and legal experts.
According to PTI sources, the government is considering various options in the current situation.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan met the legal team in which he announced his acceptance of any decision of the Supreme Court.
The Prime Minister while talking to the legal team had said that PTI is ready for new elections, we will not allow any foreign conspiracy to succeed.
It is to be noted that the Lajjar Bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan issued a short and unanimous decision on the Deputy Speaker Rolling Self Notice. Declaring the rolling of the Deputy Speaker unconstitutional, it has been ordered to restore the National Assembly to the status of April 3 and to convene a meeting on April 9 for a no-confidence vote.
