Tennis player Diana Yastrumska escaped the bombing and arrived in Paris from Ukraine

PARIS - Ukrainian tennis player Diana Yastramska arrived in Paris to play a tennis event after escaping Russian attacks and bombings.

Recalling her trip, Ukrainian tennis player Diana Yastrimska said: "I woke up to the sound of bombs. She and her younger sister were able to reach Paris by car, on foot, by boat and by plane. They both arrived in Lyon on Monday. Participated in the doubles of the WTA event where he was defeated in the first round by Garcia Perez of Spain and Dania Noel of Switzerland.

"I am very proud of my sister. We did not have much strength after what was happening in Ukraine. We reached here without sleeping for three nights," he said.
